    Like PREMIUM series, PREMIUM + windows have triple-glazed IGUs from 32 to 40 mm wide, and are manufactured with a 78 mm thick profile. They have good thermal and sound insulation properties: R~0.7 to 1; sound absorption 32dB. The distinctive feature of these windows is the aluminium on the outside of the window. Aluminium protects the window against climatic influences, prevents rotting of timber and ensures a minimum lifespan of up to 40 years.

    ELITE+ series is an example of reliability and functionality. ELITE+ series has a 90mm wide profile, 44-50mm thick IGU, 34dB noise absorption, and an R value of 0.9-1.21, the same as in the ELITE series. A special feature is the aluminium cover on the outside of the window. It protects the window against physical damage, rotting and other external influences. This makes the window durable with a minimum lifespan of up to 40 years.
     
    Insulating glass unit (IGU):
     
    Energy-saving glass, K-glass, is a glass with a special coating that allows solar energy to pass into the building and prevents long-wave heat radiation from radiators from escaping from the room. This glass is widely used to improve the thermal insulation properties of windows.
     
    Solar-reflecting glass refers to glass that has the ability to reduce the transmission of light and/or solar thermal energy.
     
    Tinted glass reduces heat build-up in the room and protects furniture and furnishings from fading. Ordered mainly for the exterior cladding of building facades, and also in living premises (kitchen) if the window faces the sunny side.
     
    Argon is an inert gas. Filling with argon has its advantages:
    • Filling with argon increases noise insulation. Thus, in a double-glazed IGU filled with this inert gas, the sound insulation is increased by up to 5 dBA.
    • Reduced heat loss. Argon has lower thermal conductivity than air. At 0 degrees, the thermal conductivity of gas and air is 0.016W/mK and 0.024W/mK respectively.
    • Argon filling is safe and superior to air in terms of usefulness.
    The gas does not change the pressure inside the IGU and therefore cannot deform it.
     
    Triplex is a laminated multi-layer glass pane, with a polymer film containing a special resin layer on the inside. Triplex has enhanced sound insulation properties and such glass may crack but will not shatter.
     
    Tempered glass refers to glass that has been subjected to a special hardening process by heating to 650-700 °C and then cooling rapidly. It is safe, highly durable, and resistant to extreme temperature fluctuations. Tempered glass panes up to 10 mm thick increase the mechanical strength and heat resistance of the glass. Such glass always has a marking in the bottom corner.
