Apartment in Vivaldi residential complex
Apartment located in Vivaldi residential complex The total area of the apartment is 200 m², and the glazing area is 40 m². The house has wood windows (first grade pine) made from 90 ELITE+ profile series. The heat transfer coefficient is 1.05.
The apartment had cold, unheated recessed balconies and was intended for seasonal use, but after replacing the glazing and installing the thermal insulation of the walls they became part of the residential rooms. Creating comfortable conditions on the recessed balconies allowed the hostess to arrange a ‘green corner’ and the family members could then spend time on the balcony. Due to the specific location of the apartment, the windows had to be installed with the help of industrial climbers.
A house near Berlin, Germany
House located 30 km from Berlin. The total area of the house is 250 m², and the glazing area is 70 m². The house was equipped with wood windows (top grade pine) made from 90 ELITE series profile, with triple-glazed IGUs and three tempered glass panes. This solution ensures a comfortable temperature in the house all year round and minimises outside noise. The heat transfer coefficient is 1.21.
The house also has 2 sliding doors installed: HS Portal, 3 metres high and 5 metres wide, and FS Portal. A true architectural marvel: the sashes slide so easy that the owner’s five-year-old grandson can open and close the sliding doors on his own. Another advantage of this system was tested in winter when temperatures dropped to minus thirty. The house was comfortable and warm, with no freezing or blow-through winds. Even though the house is heated only by underfloor heating which covers all the floor area, without convector or radiators.
