Oak wood windows by OknaDrev have a unique wood grain and texture and are made from three-ply glued laminated timber with radially cut lamellae. Oak windows offer unrivalled durability and resistance to all kinds of micro-organisms. The wood is thoroughly impregnated with Tikkurila antiseptic, the window surface is primed and then Remmers lacquer coating is applied. Both double- and triple-glazed energy-saving IGUs are available, depending on the function of the window unit.

Quality German gasket

We use a Schlegel gasket with 2 – 3 gasket circuits. Standard colours: brown, white, beige, light oak.

Aluminium profile covers

Aluminium overlaps on the outer surfaces of the window profiles are possible – for additional protection of wood from the weather.

Decorative covers for insulating glass units

On request we install decorative covers on IGUs to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our products.

Oak timber is unsurpassed in strength compared to other wood species. It is exceptionally difficult to scratch and its strength minimises deformation of the frame.

Texture and grain

Oak has an inherently aesthetic texture. In order to show it in all its glory, the material is varnished with a colourless substance instead of being painted.

Oak timber is characterised by a wide range of colours and a large number of shades, from lighter to almost black.

Resistant to rot and pests

Oak window frames resist rot and are resistant to insect attacks thanks to a special impregnation. The wood breathes well, which makes fungi formation virtually impossible.

Moisture resistance

The raw material hardly absorbs any moisture, so the windows will not warp.

Sound insulation, thermal insulation

Products excellently insulate noise and prevent heat loss in premises. The material is resistant to temperature fluctuations and other environmental influences.

Oak is easy to work with and can be used for rectangular and arched windows, round windows, polygonal windows, etc.
